Finding a location to photograph can be one of the most challenging and deterring factors when taking photos.

Whether you are taking photos of nature or of people, the background, the lighting, and scenery is crucial in getting a good result. See our last blog post for some more tips.

You have to be so observant otherwise you have the possibility of ruining your entire shot. That’s why learning these time savvy tricks can help you get some great shots, quicker!

Tip One

If you are looking for a new Instagram worthy shot, try looking on social media. Specifically tagged locations. This will give you up to date information about the location, whilst also sparking some inspiration.

Tip Two

Try using google maps, street view. This will not only stop you from having to drive around but also means you can plan your camera positioning beforehand.

Tip Three

Take note of the places around you. You do not always have to go to popular or extravagant locations. Sometimes your local park can be great for photos. So, next time you are out walking be observant and think about whether any places you pass would be good for a photoshoot.

Tip Four

Look online. Start researching about South Australia. Often the first couple of photos that pop up are the best for photography.
